Special Achievements

Favourable Objective Ratings

Chrysler Corporation: QE Award and highest overall "preferable" rating in numerous consecutive years.

Ford Motor Company: highest aggregate rating of all Ford-rated Canadian General Contractors, and first in Canadian construction industry to receive Ford's Q1 quality award.

Construction Safety Association of Ontario (CSAO) and Ontario General Contractors Association "Accident Prevention Zero Frequency Award".

Design/Construction Awards

Essex County Construction Award of Merit received from the Windsor Construction Association in 1987 as General Contractor for the $8,600,000 Waste Treatment Plant Renovations at General Motors Windsor Transmission Plant, completed in 1981. Loaring Construction was the primary local General Contractor for the overall Windsor Transmission Plant Expansion in 1981, for which the Architect received a similar Award of Merit.

Loaring construction has bid on contracts in all ten Canadian provinces, and has completed contacts in eight provinces.

The only Windsor vicinity General Contractor featured in the publication entitled Proud Heritage - Exciting future/75th Anniversary of The Canadian Construction Association, published in 1993 and The Commerce & Industry Magazine, published in 2005.

The only General Contractor to be selected by Ford Windsor Engine Plant 1 to assist in its successful quest for a Preventive Maintenance Excellence Award (by presenting the "Contractors Health and Safety Requirements" portion of the plant's presentation).

Loaring's key employees have received six Gold Seal Certifications, from the Canadian Construction Association and the National Gold Seal Committee in all three certification categories: Estimator, Project Manager, and Superintendent.
